Wisdom teeth don’t always have to be extracted. If they align properly and the gum tissue is healthy, they can stay without causing pain or discomfort. However, wisdom teeth become problematic when they’re misaligned. They can grow sideways, angled inward or outward, or toward or away from the second molars. This can crowd and damage adjacent teeth, the jawbone, or nerves. “Impacted” wisdom teeth are those that remain trapped beneath the gum and bone. Poorly positioned impacted teeth can cause pressure that may move and disrupt the orthodontic or natural alignment of teeth.

Everyone at Dr Lin’s clinic was so nice and professional. I had general anesthesia and had 4 wisdom teeth taken out. It was about an hour and super smooth. I had minimal pain and swelling and pretty much got back to normal life the next day. Highly recommended!

Dr Lin made quick and through explanation for me. It’s a bit scary to have the tooth subtracted right after the consultation ,but you can always trust Dr Lin and his team! Very smooth and satisfying visit.

The recovery process following oral surgery varies depending on the specific procedure performed. Generally, it involves a period of rest, pain management, and following post-operative instructions provided by our expert team.
